Here’s a simple solution to avoid content-burnout: rather than try to create 25 pieces of unique, original content, create one piece of long-form content (say, a blog post), and then create 24 pieces by repurposing it. This creates less work for you and affords an opportunity for exposure across social media platforms- which means you can get additional eyes on your content without having to make any extra effort! Here are 7 different ways to repurpose your old blog posts across multiple networks:

1) Repost your blog post in its entirety on Medium, Quora, LinkedIn Articles and as an email newsletter.

2) Share snippets of your blog post on Twitter with a link to the full article.

3 Use a series of pull quotes from your blog post to create inspirational, enlightening or “how-to” images to post on Instagram and include a caption with a link to the article.

4) Write a short summary of your blog post on Facebook or LinkedIn and include a link to the full article.

5) Revisit an old blog post and share it on Facebook and/or Linkedin and write about how your thoughts have or haven’t changed since first writing it.

6) Repurpose one of your old blog posts as audio and release it as a podcast on anchor, then create an intriguing image using Canva and combine it with the audio to make a video and upload it to YouTube.

7) Create an infographic about one of your old blog posts and share it on Pinterest. This works well for anything with numbers, or a how-to post. Don’t have either of those? Get creative– come up with action steps for applying something you share in a blog post, and turn those action steps into a how-to infographic.

Using these six ideas, you should be able to easily create at least six– and probably as many as 24– different pieces of content. It doesn’t matter that they all say the same thing. First, repetition is good for your branding; it’s how you establish yourself as a leader in a specific space. Second, these pieces all have different audiences in different states of mind. Remember, the idea here is to take the core concepts in your long-form content and turn them into bite-sized piece of content designed to engage your readers inside the platforms where they hang out. Do this well and not only will you build a bigger following on your social media channels, you will get a lot more traffic to your site.

Lorem Ipsum has been the industrys standard dummy text ever since the 1500s, when an unknown prmontserrat took a galley of type and scrambled it to make a type specimen book. It has survived not only five centuries, but also the leap into electronic typesetting, remaining essentially unchanged.
